Frustration. I don’t understand this injury stuff. Don’t we all run to maintain a level of fitness and health? Sure you bump into the occasional running masochist, but isn’t running supposed to make us healthy!?!
I’m not over trained, I’m stretching and I’m eating (mostly) well. However, I have not been doing regular strength training, or many long runs. And just for fun, let’s state the fact that I weigh the same as Johnny Weir. A completely irrelevant statement, but it makes a girl proud. Where’s my World’s Biggest Ass medal?
So, I don’t have my half-marathon repentance to look forward to this Saturday. I’m surely going to hell because that makes three weeks with no long run. How bad does that bite?
