This new training is going to push my limits. It’s only been 2 days and I’m totally exhausted. That’s spanktacular.
Yesterday was VO2 training on the treadmill – the crazy trainer man made me run straight uphill for an hour – ouch – my heart rate was all over the place. This morning was the hardest weight training session I’ve ever had in my life. Tomorrow’s session involves some kind of Devil worship by running 4 miles at my AT. Oh my.
This is going to be good.
Sounds like torture, however it may give your runnign a breakthrough. Better you than me though!
Sounds like FUN, FUN, FUN!! Go get ’em Susan!
:)…sounds like fun…
was wondering how you went about setting up this new program? what kind of clinic would i need to contact (cardiac rehab?) the hr info is very interesting, i’m hanging onto every word too!
does NOT sound like fun…
sounds like ow. (have fun anyway)
The Devil Worship 4? Bloody hell.
It’s hard to notice your ass giggle when you’re in pain eh?
Sounds pretty hard, but certainly is the level where you are. They devepoled just what YOU need to do, great workout then…
and the Boston qualifying run is…..?
I’ve got a lot of friends doing the VO2 testing-let us know in a month if you think it is worth it-then I’ll put my lung up on Ebay-maybe you’ll have saved up enough to replace your’s by then.
Woo! I hope this torture produces excellent results for you. Maybe it’s the kick in the pants your running needed.
Also, “spanktacular” is my new favorite word.
Don’t stress yourself, running must be a pleasure not a torture!
what is this pain running? oh well no pain no gain! i guess!
Oh deep down in the cockles of your cockle, you LOVE it, Whippy McSpankerton!
ASS Giggle. Oh my.
Hope this training helps your progress to your running goals!
Yes! Yes! Worship me! Run, Susan, run!
PS – Don’t forget the snakes.
That sounds like fun. One day I can take you out for some speed hills and we can run til we both puke. Get your VO2 and hill work at the same time, now that is fun!
Now add a long run and you will be well on your way to a great marathon time!
Can’t wait to see how it pays off. Hang in there.
Good luck with the 4 at “AT” tomorrow.
I love it when someone talks about pain, and then says, “this is going to be good”. Now that I can get on board with, as long as you don’t overtrain.
Benny
Now you know hands on what I do for a living when I am not coaching, training or running!! Heeeheee!! You won’t die from cardiac explosion it only feel like it.
Make sure your husband is on hand to take care of you afterwards!!
Look at it from the positive side, you’ll be kicking butt in your next race.
Are you a masochist by any chance?! It sounds like hell and you’re enjoying it? Oh my, I worry about you girl! Keep up the good work!
I want a mile by mile report of tomorrow’s session!
It’s good to find a different kind of pain.
