First the boring news – not much to report this weekend – I ran a tired 6 miles on Friday taking Saturday as a recovery day with intentions to run my lsd on Sunday. I was not feeling my best this weekend (so thankful to be female) so my Sunday eighteen miles turned into two very slow 4 mile runs – rounding out the week with only a little over 26 miles – leaving me ten miles and one long run short. Oh well – more motivation to make my 20 mile run next Sunday even better.
Now for exciting news – I am thrilled and honored to post updates for my favorite superhero while he is running the Boston Marathon tomorrow. Check Jeff’s blog for updates throughout the day. Mwaaa – I have supreme blog power! Don’t worry Jeff, it’s ok – I’ll be good – I promise. Go Jeff Go!! And good luck to Elizabeth and all the other RBFers out there running the Boston M.
Spring Braces
That picture is too cute!! I’m sure you’ll have a better running week next week. Sometimes monthly issues get in the way of long runs and that sucks 🙁 Or even better – races! Don’t you love that? 😉
Cute photo!
And yes… you have the power! (Muwaahhhaaaa!)
Does Kenza change braces like her mother changes headers?
Have a good week of running!
Love the alternating brace colors. She really is a mini-you.
Have fun recapping today!
I remember those! And getting them tightened every month… ouch!
Your daughter (?) is a cutie!
Susan, just wanted to mention this because it jumped out at me; if you’re building up your long runs, be careful about jumping to 20 miles since you missed your 18 miler. Don’t be “afraid” to “just” run 18 this weekend.
Great photo of Kenza – love the braces. I’m sure we’ll be there in a few years.
oh lord…susan’s head is growing with all of the power… (have fun…!)
Your daugter is adorable – it reminds me that I’m so glad our sons are out of braces! Everybody has a bad week now and then, you’ll do fine next week.
oooh, i had braces twice. as a dorky preteen and as a dorky mid-30s, but that time around i got to have those colorful ones. i was dorky, but in technicolor!
i like that kenza’s captured the girl with the pearl earring over the shoulder glance.
not spring here in OZ. i’m seriously pondering ordering feminine hygiene from the 70s to line my tights. brrr.
hope you’re feeling better. have a barbecs brekky!
Nice braces..and what’s with all this header change…do u set it to go as random?
Thanks for all your work today! I’m not supposed to visit websites during work, but hey, it’s was JEFF!! or rather jeff, so I spent my afternoon checking in every two minutes. How exciting! Thanks.
Yet another header change. Nice and rosy…..
I wanted to check on Jeff throughout the day but work was hectic and I never got to the results til I got home. Jeff did awesome!
I fell short on my mileage goals as well this week, but I am pretty sure the universe is still functioning properly. Not really much difference between 18 and 20 miles. It’s just a number.
Kenza reminds me that I am going to have to go through braces potentially 4X’s. $$$
As said above, watch the jump in miles, just be careful out there. Like the spring roses, and the martini’s 🙂
You host one of the most interesting running blogs. You did a great job posting Jeff’s updates yesterday. Thanks.
Thanks for all the updates yesterday. It was really cool to follow along. Nice work!
