One year ago I decided I needed a place where I could document my workouts and my food online. It seemed a little complicated but I was determined to be the very first person ever to blog their training and nutrition. Go me. A few googles later and I found the Running Chick and the Blogfather. My original idea was not so original AND I was insanely envious. Their blogs were so pretty. So customized. Mine was so plain. So generic. Susan doesn’t do generic very well.
Never in a million years would I dream that I’d be chatting with someone who photographs his ass – or that I’d finally locate my long lost twin. Or even find my very first manservant to carry all my marathon gear. Where else but here could I consume toast and pork daily – and not gain a pound. Or watch my sister’s children grow from across the country. It’s an amazing cyber world we live in, and surprisingly – I am still here. Not much faster but reigning queen of the ever-changing mastheads.
It’s my bloggiversary.
And David, some day when I have my personal shopper at Nordstroms who will lead me to the secret stashes I KNOW they’re hiding from the common folks – I’ll take you shopping with me.
you’ve only been around one year and you’ve already built up a fan base this big??! you should win a Blog Oscar… “Blogoscar” or something.
