I’ve been a little down lately. Not the-world-is-ending down, just down. 2006 has brought many challenges this way, good ones, but still taxing. My lazy side wants to lie down and pull the covers over my head; the rational side won’t let that happen. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing. Perhaps some interests outside of running and my computer would help, or maybe a vacation. But this is a running blog, so lets get to the running.
I’ve been thinking about my marathon training. And I really don’t want to run a marathon just to run a marathon. Honestly, that sounds like another five hours of misery to me. If I’m going do this, I’m going to do it right. No more slack days, off days or blah days. I need to make every day of training count, even if it only get me ten minutes closer to my BM goal. We’ll start here and see how it goes.
