Favorite holiday memory as a child?
One year we were waiting for my Dad to get home on Christmas Eve, we were really young still, five and four I think, and when Daddy came through the door and we noticed a lump under his jacket. He told us this wonderful story of Santa coming out of the sky, parking his sleigh next to the car and asking if he knew of any good kids who would like the best gift he had to offer that year. When Daddy unzipped his jacket a puppy popped his head out. We named him Chipper.
Oh, and the year we put my sister in the clothes dryer . . . and turned it on. That was fun, even if it wasn’t on Christmas.

Funny, we had this very discussion last night! We’re you peeping in our window again, Su?
These responses are so you, Susan. I had a good laugh over the pajama one, given what I wrote about pajamas on my meme. And the clothes dryer. Now to just stop laughing so I can get some work done around here….
Yea for Bailey’s Irish cream (mine is on-the-rocks) and wine for Santa is always appreciated!
Cheese and crackers, and good wine? That sounds like a very nice gesture for Santa. Hum? I might see if Ryan will go for it. We’ll still leave the carrots for the reindeer though.
May you be blessed with many funny shaped gifts under your treee this year.
