Changes are happening, finally. This week I am seeing changes in my body from the hard workouts I’ve been doing. 2 power lifting days, 2-3 boot camp days – which includes lifting, gaser sprints and agility (which translates into HELL), and 3 running days. There isn’t a huge weight shift, but my body is changing. Which is good, because I might not be as broken as I thought I was. I don’t think there is any need to mention how thrilled I am about this.
And speaking of broken, the MMPLGs are back in action. Last week at an attempt at a heavy deadlift the MMPLG Cindy was injured. It wasn’t pretty and we were all a little freaked, especially Cindy, who isn’t very good at being broken. We are all happy she’s finally starting to feel better (knock on wood).
We’re lifting VERY heavy and we have to remember to take this very seriously, which we do, but we also goof off a lot. Re: taking 100 pictures at the gym per day to validate strength status. I’m not sure what ‘validate strength status’ means, but it sounds good. Also, per Coach Devil, I’m not allowed to post how much we are lifting because our competitors are watching. Just know it’s a lot – and you should be afraid.
See, here is MMPLG Cindy on a light lift. She could kick your butt anyday!
