Birthday Photos

I had a great birthday yesterday. My sweet husband Michael even took the day off work, which made it even better.

After breakfast, I grabbed a good book and a café Americano and took the dogs to the dog park while Michael and Kenza went shopping. Very relaxing!

Later that day we all went to Javiers Mexican restaurant for dinner. Kenza had the black bean soup. The residual effect of the bean soup gave Kenza the giggles on the way home – because it’s funny when you’re 10. Although, Michael was worried Kenza was going to burn a hole in the carseat.

It was so funny, she had to pick her nose too. An obvious trait of good parenting.

This morning I opened the gift my sister Runner Amy sent me. It made me laugh. Hysterically. But it made my coffee taste better than ever.

Glad you had a great time, though I have to say, I’m not sure I’d want to be in the same car as Maximus Farticus.

I did not know you were a passionate and knowledgeable track and field fan. Why don’t you tell us these things?

37. What did 37 feel like? Let me think. Exciting times at work. Mrs. T took off to Europe with the seven year old that summer and left me with a handful of a one year old who faced a brush with death under my (lack of) care.

And yes – why were you not shopping for shoes?

Happy Birthday ….. you have to show her Blazing Saddles …. it is an important part of parenting to expose them to the classics

I don’t recall much about my 37th birthday, other than the dog also likely farted for the occasion too. Happy Birthday!!! By the way, your Happy Boobs moniker was the talk among my friends during our 10k. Don’t worry — I gave you ‘full credit.’

Your husband who took a day off just to celebrate your birthday with you is so sweet. It reminds me of my brother who took a day off from school just to celebrate my birthday with me. Looks like everybody in the family had a great time on your birthday. Happy birthday to you!!!
