Tales of the Great Closet Purge, Part 2 are told here.
The family room. Guess where I sit?
Rowdy doesn’t care too much for his new and bigger bed.
Kenza’s room as she is hypnotized by High School Musical Part 2 – this phenomenon scares me. And do all kids have this much crap in their rooms?
Now let us move on to my next obsession – the one that is not about the shoes, but the lamps. I’ll only do a few, I could post for hours about lamps, and I know how boring it is for everyone else in the world.
And the Sid Dickens Obsession. Who, by the way, no longer deserves any HRMS – that price-fixing brat. I’m officially on a Sid Strike.
It’s hard to believe that the house is finally finished. I love our new home – I really, really do – but I miss our old home too. And if I had to do it all over again, after two years of planning and construction, I’m not sure I would.
Although this Goddess of all things holy – makes it almost worthwhile.
Great pics. But I’m not quite sure what that last one is? It looks cool whatever it is – and if it’s an “in-fridge” martini maker then I’m sold.
Love the floors!
Kenza’s room ain’t all that bad – it actually looked pretty neat and organized to me.
I think you’re only showing the tip of the (shoe closet) iceberg. No fair.
I feel the same way about our new home. It’s nicer and newer but there’s something still missing — an attachment. I guess these things take time. Or maybe I just need to develop a lamp fixation. I feel so inadequate.
love the lamps! and kenza’s room looks awesome…
Really looks great!!
show kenza waiting for guffman.
Glad you’re finally all moved in. Love the lamps too. I’m sure Rowdy will adjust to the new bed soon 🙂
i love lamp
Awesome pictures of the new house. You need to have a cookout and invite all of us. :o) I”ll fly down from Boston with some local brews! And yes, all kids have that much crap – they are practicing for adulthood. Oh, and would you mind posting more pics of the closet? I have to lay out ours and I haven’t a clue! :o) Congratulatons!
WOW…pretty swanky. Love the lamps, too. I’m not sure what the high school musical 2 phenom is..I have an 8-yr. old son, so hopefully, I’ll never know. 🙂
Suz,
Is that a space ship in the last picture?
I love all of it. Especially the lamps.
OMIGODWTFBBQ??? You have a DACOR coffee maker????? You don’t happen to have a spare bedroom available, do you? I am super-dee-duper jealous.
The new digs look great. You did a wonderful job decorating. How about some lighting and exterior photos?? 🙂
When you die…maybe you could leave me the shoes in the will? Not even the red open toe pumps?
Love the lamps.
I love the lamps.
LOVE The new home! Very nice! 🙂
I am liking those wall tiles – alot. Nice job.
You have nice lamps Susan.
You sit near the lamp? I’m slightly disappointed. I was expecting the red shirts on the bottom hanger to line up with those on the top.
Don’t spend too much time lining up those tiles now, will you?
wow! congrats on the new house. I LOVE the lamps!
Good for you listening to your body — 5 miles, 17 miles, sometimes the only difference is an injury. Under these circumstances (like a move) sometimes you just do what you can do.
cheers
lovely home congratulations!!!I’m so jealous!!!
Sweet place. I’m digging the red ones. And those lamps are killer. Congrats on a nice move.
Fabulous, simply fabulous. My kids are hooked with HS musical 2 as well. We have several of the songs on the iPod ready to sing along whenever the urge strikes.
Love the new place! And the lamps are awesome. I could see how easy it would be to have a lamp obsession in addition to the shoe obsession of course. 🙂
Congratulations on your new home! It’s just beautiful. I hope you and your family have many happy years there.
I’m jealous of your built-in Capuccino machine. We just bought a pod system for our guest room. My new house is ready to move into, but we haven’t sold the old one and there never seems to be a convenient time to move out. I thought I’d be there by now. 🙁
Your new house is beautiful and your closet is spectacular. Enjoy it all! You really deserve it after all your sacrifice and hard work!
Lovely pictures, lovely house. Worth the stress, I’m sure!
OMG – I was just wondering why Susan never posts any more and then I checked my bloglines and you were GONE! Who TF did that??!!! Now I have to catch up.
I love your new house, too.
v.v. jealous.
