congrats on finishing another one.

i’m sorry i didn’t get the chance to meet you. (i got to the starting area rather late this morning, and was too nervous to go wandering around.)

as for the queensboro bridge, i’d forgotten how long it was. last time i ran nyc it was the site of my downfall. this time i took it slow, but it seemed to go on forever. it was great to get off it though and come into manhattan!

i look forward to your report and your pictures!

Wow, that’s good Susan! Not only that, it’s almost palindromic! Well, a 2 looks like a backwards 5.

So close to a PB :) You certainly gave it a good crack, with 2:20 at half way. Well done mate.

PS Your sister says you are grumpy after a marathon. Huh? Go figure. :D Me too.

Am I right in thinking you felt you were undertrained for this marathon? And then came close to a PR?

A palindromic marathon indeed, haha. Have a good recovery and well-earned rest.
