Well done to run a marathon run and 2 marathons are too much of good and you need your rest after a marathon.
But a good job!!!

Loser? Are you kidding me? You ran a marathon last weekend having done a half as your longest training run prior. That’s amazing! And it woulda been a whole new level of crazy to do another this weekend, esp. with that cankle. I agree with Groet: “2 marathons are too much of good.” Couldn’t be said better.
I could barely hobble along for six this morning after last week’s pitiful effort so I know what you’re feeing.
Best part is you’re still only one mary ahead of me.
Good for you. The idea of you running back to back marathons was totally daft but I wasn’t going to be the one to say so. That was very smart of you to toss it. You need to be putting in much higher milage for a long time before you do back to backs.
Good for you! You’re so smart – I on the other hand would push myself to run, make it 20 miles then call to be picked up and never run another marathon again – oh wait! Yeah I did that 4 yrs ago…
I’ve had those days before. There are lots of marathons out there. I know you could have done it, but it’s all right that you chose not to. Can’t wait to see the pictures of Kenza’s 5k.

yeah, what a loser. A REAL runner would have been out running an ultra this weekend.
Ease up already! You did the smart thing, which is not the same as the easy thing.
🙂

Go Kenza!
Smart you! Hope the crankle’s better soon. And still you’re rocking through marathons, halves, etc.
probably the wise decision with that swollen ankle. Glad Kenza had a good race!

good decision
You’re completely nuts Susan. I love it.
Hey, we’ll run Cowtown next year then!
Go Kenza! Your mum’s not a loser. She’s smart.
Sorry we missed you. It was a good run. Maybe next year, amiga.
AIN’T NO THANG BUT A CHICKEN WANG. Better to be safe than sorry with a cankley cankle. Don’t want that thing to get any bigger 😉
Congrats to Kenza for her 5K!!!
Suz,
I know you are disappointed, but it was the smart thing to do.
After seeing pics of your feet and ankles, it’s gotta be a good thing!
well you can’t run a marathon *every* weekend…
feel better soon!
On the plus side you got to cheer for my slow walkin butt!!! WOO HOO!!
