I swear I didn’t make up that name. I have to admit I was really hesitant to even list this bottle. But just look at the label, the little elephants sold me. There is even one on the cork. I know I sound like a dork, but isn’t that too adorable?
When first opened, this wine had a very strong aroma of charred wood. Um, that’s kind of a turn-away for me. But as with most petite sirahs, you really need to get rough with it and force it to open up the good stuff. I like doing that with wine. To reach this wine’s full potential I would strongly recommend decanting or even using an aerator. I like the Vinturi; one pour through this magical creation is like decanting your wine for an hour. I’m all about the instant gratification. I’ve seen Petite Petit at the market anywhere from $9.99 to $22.00. 85 Knollie points.

Mmmmm…sounds divine!
I am flattered by the name but prefer donkeys to elephants, politically speaking.
