Today, I’m wearing my strappy gold wedges. They don’t really match my outfit, but it’s my birthday and I really don’t care. I’m sitting on the patio sipping a glass of wine waiting for Michael and Kenza to get home so they can take me to stuff my birthday self with ungodly amounts of shellfish and crab. And maybe a martini. Or two. And a chocolate cake. Or seven.
