I had the pleasure of spending a few days with AJ from Little Miss Runner Pants. She’s moving from Kansas all the way to Austin with her little dog, Toto, and spent the night at the Knollie Witch Project on her way through Dallas. (Actually, her dog’s name is Asher, but Toto makes for a good title.)
Our two days were pretty action packed. We managed to visit with a few of her middle school buddies for drinks and dinner, attend leg torture class, meet up with our fellow blogger Andra Sue, (pictured below, who is every bit the charming, beautiful and enviably fashionable triathlete as you would imagine), teach Asher how to swim while drinking margaritas and ended the visit with a nice family dinner.
I’m going to leave out the part where my Aussies beat up Asher because he’s likely traumatized by the event. I’m also going to leave out the part where the pool mechanics thought I was AJ’s mother. Seriously, that part is staying out.
I really enjoyed my visit AJ. She is a gorgeous and lovely carefree spirit and if you ever get the chance to spend any time with her, you won’t be disappointed!
Nice little meet up. How could it NOT be fun with the three of you??
It was great to meet you, too yesterday! And you gals were so awesome to drive all the way down into the Big D just for some triathlete talk and a couple (delicious, I might add) salads.
Yes, definitely, let’s do the bike thing soon. Or just get together, depending on the foot situation. Just an aside, but–WHY DO I KEEP MEETING PEOPLE WHO LIVE SO DANG FAR AWAY FROM ME??? 🙂
p.s. I should have warned you I photograph *horrendously*. Or maybe I just look that way in real life, but I hope not. I will blame it on the sweat.
I love that you shared your leg torture class! You should invite the pool guy next time.
Whine whine whine when are you going to make me buff?!?! whine whine whine?!?! I’ll come over early. I have to look good (or at least better) by the end of Sept!!
Awwww…how cool! Is RunnerSusan going to ride a bike?????????? (see Andra’s comment above)
Great pics…looks like everyone had a good time!
I know how you feel about the mother thing. Someone thought I was the Dread Pirate Rackham’s mother in CdA (she’s 38) and someone thought I was your mother. I’m everyone’s Mom so I guess it’s okay but still..
Come to think of it, if someone thought I was AJ’s Mom I wouldn’t be offended at all being that I have a 25 year old daughter. Dang I’m old!
all 3 of you are beautiful, great photos!
Sorry again about the mistake 21stCenturyMom. I just thought that because of the link on RunnerSusan’s blog calling you ‘Mom’…. Not because you look old enough to be a certain aged persons Mom!
Anyway, looks fun!
if your dogs were really aussies, they’d wear microscopic shorts.
you need to get some.
wht is 21st worried about. the beeyoch has abs! she’s all abs porny.
you should be a blogger B&B. Board and Broads.
Looks like a great time! Great photos.
That is so cool that you guys hooked up. Hey Mom, you look great in the photos too.
I would love to have been there with you two. It looks like an awesome time was had.
Surely the pool mechanics were kidding! You look like her better looking twin sister.
Too makes a good dog name too 😉
Shall we assume the pool guys will not be back?
