I’m having hair crisis. I have in-between hair. It’s not long, it’s not short, it’s just blah and I can’t decide if I should chop it off or let it grow. I absolutely love Katie Holmes hair right now, it’s so sophisticated and smart. I just don’t know how it would look on me since I’m A) blonde, B) old C) not the beautiful, but brainwashed, 105 pound Katie Holmes D) have frizzy, fluffy hair and E) live in a really humid climate. What do you think? Chop or let it grow?

I say leave it. In your pictures from your shopping trip your hair looked awesome. I actually thought about cutting mine after seeing your awesome cut.
I don’t know about Katie’s hair. I liked it better before she got duel citizenship. Wouldn’t those hanging down bits at the front be annoying? You know, flop around and slap you in the face while you’re running?
You can’t go wrong by keeping it long (for a while). I agree with jk!
Chop! I think it would suit you.
I think you should go for Katie’s new-new look: http://tinyurl.com/5sr6fy
Hey Susan!
I beg to differ with C) and would also query B) based on your beautiful looks. I’m sure whatever you go with you’re retain your natural hotness, so stop fretting and keep on running.
D.
I’m awfully biased for a shorter ‘do (hence my own super-short hair), so I say go for it.
noooooooo! her hair looks like a helmet!
if you keep the bangs side swept a little it may not be so bad but the blunt bangs especially make that style look like a helmet, you know that image you see on the web, that’s what her hair reminds me of. Here I just found a link:

ha ha ha ha neese!!!
susan, you look gorgeous all the time. sheesh.
The way you have it now totally suits you … the length…side swept bang. Looks modern and easy to do. I rarely think full straight bangs look good on anyone. Plus you can’t pull it back if you go that short. Not to mention that unless you are dressed in head to toe Chanel the haircut looks ridiculous.
I would think you’d opt not to waste your time on anything to do with Katie Holmes. After all, you kicked her ass in the New York City Marathon. Remember?
let it grow! you’ll just have to start all over again and get to this point and re-cut it and etc… just let it grow. enjoy being able to put it up in a ponytail! maybe cut it after chicago!!!!?
I’d try it short. If it doesn’t suit you, it will grow out quickly. But I think it would look really good on you. It’s kinda sassy and chic and goes well with $60 bottles of wine.
I have been growing my hair for 6 months, two weeks ago I went into the hairdressers and said do something with this it is driving me mad. The humidity sends my hair back to 1984.
She did almost that exact cut. The bangs area a little more angled. I love it. It is so much lighter. If I let it dry o’natural it goes wavy and looks like a cute just gotta outta bed bob!
I send you a pic
Didn’t you try this on your trip to Sister Amy’s in Indiana? You look good both ways. You have that ‘can’t go wrong’ look.
if you do katie’s hair, you have to do the only look she has: crooked smile.
and michael has to do the risky business shirt-only look.
then join the churrrrrrch.
DO.
NOT.
CUT.
I think this would look cute on you!
Last time I got my hair cut I figured I might as well try it because it will grow back. I hated it. The other thing about a ‘do’ like Katies is it is a maintenance nightmare and you don’t have her staff. Something to consider.
It’s hair. It’ll grow back. And if it’s scary buy cute hats to go with your cute shoes.
Flatman’s CAPS scare me… but Ali’s cut looks good.
Got it. Love it. Bangs hide that wrinkle on the forehead that I refuse to get botox’d. It’d look cute on you…though your hair always looks great in your pics.
