The Final Twenty Before Chicago

in 2008 Chicago Marathon,Training Runs

Done. 3 hours 39 minutes and 55 seconds. Perfect weather, lots of hills, and I felt really great. I’ve never been so prepared for a marathon, I’m not sure what to expect.

Things are going to be good this time.

excellent work Susan! Chicago is so flat, that takes one difficult element out of the equation, there’s no reason you can’t PR there :)

Holy! That was fast Susan! I think you should go for under four hours. I really think you can do it. You’ve been a machine.

23 21stCenturyMom September 29, 2008 at 5:34 pm

That’s an outstanding time! This will be a good one as long as you remember not to go out too fast. Don’t let a nice 20 miler make you forget that Golden rule. Sounds like if you pace yourself you will have a fabulous marathon.
