Testing out the vagina-friendly saddle and I crashed in the driveway AGAIN! How long will this keep happening? How many fall-overs did you guys have before it stopped? Because it’s starting to get annoying.
Yeah, I doubt they’ll take back the bazillion dollar saddle now that half a side of it is all scratched up. Stupid bike.
I love your t-shirt.
So – you are getting off the vagina friendly seat when you stop in time to get your foot on the ground, right? That part is important.
I think that was your last fall over for a while. I can feel it!
That completely sucks but that is why I run and not bike. Hope it gets better.
Ow need some video on this I think….you need to be clipped out on one side before you stop to catch yourself.
only clip in on ONE side, the same side. always. once you get used to that, you are allowed back in the street. then? it gets really FUN!!!!
It took me a year before I stopped falling over. With luck you will learn faster that I did. That said, my tip overs NEVER resulted in the knee abrasions that you have posted.
And the shirt.. R U celebrating Diwali??
LOL! I can see how that happens with cycling shows clipped into the pedals
Ouch, I’ve been lucky and always get out of the clips…..
Please be careful. Driveways are very dangerous! At least you can cover up the knees. Please don’t damage your pretty face 🙂
Ummmm I don’t think I have ever fallen over on a bike…
Listen….it’s just like riding a bike…
…and the answer is “once”. Actually I never had a clipleass fall-over until after I had been riding clipless for 15 years or so….but it happens.
Not getting back on is the losing move.
At least the vagina is safe? I am also married to a competitive cyclist — for this reason, I switched from cycling to running. he is a little too intense on the bike and i think wants me to be too! Anyway- it will get better!!! I wonder if your cleats need to be loosened up a bit so you can unclip easier- maybe just until you feel more balanced. Good work!!
Coming from someone who fell so many times her friends gave her a nickname – don’t worry about it, it’s part of the learning curve. It also seems like you always fall at the most embarrassing times – when everyone can see you. And I don’t care what cyclists say there are only two kinds – ones who have crashed and ones who are about to.
Happy riding!
