We’ll just call this ab week

Today we did arms and abs. Call me a weenie, but I really didn’t want to go to the track and do 400s in the cold. I know, I complain when it’s hot AND when it’s cold. I’m temperature sensitive that way.

Today involved straight-legged bench work and a horrible plate dragging, ab crawling thing. We’ll call them Aussie drags. Thanks Ewen, those were fun. Not.

For a comparison, you’ll see how painful and torturous the Aussie Drag is for me and then you’ll see Cindy fly through them like she’s been doing it since she was a baby. Yeah, I know when I’ve been whipped.

She was faster-but your form was better. Meaning you worked more muscles than she did. I am tempted to try these but I have no paper plates! :-P

I used to have my class do the plate things when I taught body toning. They are brutal!

I am SO temperature sensitive, too. Anything under 55 or over 75 and I’m crying!

You sorta sound like that tennis player every time she hit the ball. :)

Good, solid work, RS!

I really think your torture videos would make a great holiday gift collection. DVD in a paper plate wrinkled case and tied with a red stretchy band.

They looked fun! Wasn’t Cindy laughing?

Go the Aussie drags! I want you to try them out at the track for 100 metres. Abs of steel are coming your way :)

By the way, good point about Cindy’s butt not being in “neutral”. Your form (and screams) were much better.

Sorry internet people I will have a more “Neutral Butt” from this point forward! As you can see I have ALOT of Butt to keep Neutral!

the screaming scared me!

15 Flatman November 14, 2008 at 2:27 pm

Neutral butt is overrated anyway… :)

you make the best sounds, but I always have to turn my speakers down at work when I watch your videos…

me three: I can’t take the screaming. It makes me want to save you.
