I tell the doctor I’m very tired and I have a constant headache and maybe my throat hurts a little. So the doctor says “you athletic people don’t know the difference between over-trainied and sick.” And then he tells me I have a sinus infection and a throat infection “and that means you’re sick”. I got an antibiotic yesterday and I can’t believe how much better I feel already. I took yesterday and today off training and I will resume tomorrow with the failed attempt at the long run from Sunday. Wish me luck. Go drugs!

Get well soon!!!
Time to be Runner Snooze-sun. Get well soon.
Just do drugs.
We’re all sick. It’s just an matter of whether or not our illnesses are treatable.
Hope you get to feeling better soon. Glad the ddrugs are in full motion. Rest when you need it before attacking that long run. You know what they say about the long rin and immune system.
Jeez. It’s like the time that I ran an entire half marathon only to find out from a doctor friend that I had bronchitis. No wonder I felt like crap!! And she ran the whole thing with me! I felt like a biology experiment. I hope you feel better!
Take that rest and get well!!!.
And runners always tired after a training or marathon!.
Groet Rinus.

The difference between athletes and non-athletes is we just have another reason to hang that awful feeling on. Other people blame beer, coffee, stress. Ain’t no difference.
Glad you got the bug killers. Take lots of naps, drink lots of fluids and tomorrow will be a shiny new day!
I just got back from the doctors, too. The exact same diagnosis… I only figured it out because vertigo almost threw me out of my chair yesterday!! Get well soon!!
Suz,
Get well soon my friend!
hey, maybe that’s why I am tried and running slow, I’m sick, I need drugs.
Feel better!
aww man…does this mean no videos for awhile? Feel better…
Athletic people may not know the difference between sick and tired, but we INTERNET PEOPLE; WE know what’s going on. You’re sick. Get better soon. Post more videos soon.
LOL, sounds like rest is just wht the Dr. ordered – I hope you feel better soon!
Oh man..that stinks…in my book a good excuse to NOT do a long run this week
I know you’re not a whinging Pom, so get well soon Suz.
antibiotics are one of man’s greatest inventions, aren’t they? glad you’re feeling better. make sure you don’t overdo it!
I hope you feel better soon!!!!
You are just so cute. Get well soon
But it feels pretty good to be called an athletic person, doesn’t it?
I went on my first run tonight in over two weeks. I have a nasty upper respiratory infection which may be whooping cough (really). I did a lot better tonight than I thought I would—so don’t be afraid to rest. You won’t lose as much fitness as you think.
Ha, over trained or sick. Better living through drugs, that’s my motto! Get well….
Drugs rule! Doctors…they’re okay when they give you drugs, but not when they chastise you for being athletic.
Ah geez…is EVERYONE sick?
Good drugs = good
Are you still alive Susan? Is Katy keeping you up?
You = hard core.
