My ass is going to hurt tomorrow. Also, I’m thinking eventually I’ll need to write something with content, and not just post videos. But I’ve been very lazy lately. So while I think of words, you can watch me die in this video. And die without a visible six-pack of abs because the layer of seal blubber won’t budge from around my waist. Damn stupid fudge. Life is so unfair.
Abs, Squats from Runner Susan on Vimeo.
I enjoyed this video thoroughly. Did this to myself yesterday (not QUITE as bad but there was some near screams towards the end of my ab workout too. Got off the ground and almost fell right back down again, world was spinning for me, bet you had a bit of that too.
Suz,
You rocked this work-out today! It was a tough one and you made it look EASY!!!
I’ve always thought it unfair that my great ab muscles (they really are strong) are hidden behind such cruel flab. Just a little, but that’s all it takes. :{
Nice video and good works!.
You looks good on the video and train not to much your legs…
Nice to see.

looks like a great workout – you are gonna rock a bikini come summer. I have to ask why she puts you on a slanted step to do squats. Is it to isolate a particular muscle group or is it just better form-wise?
Wow. nice workout. After watching your ab workout yesterday, I tried it today after my run… oy oy oy.
Itchy Bits, per Master Cindy: the elevated squats/slightly raised in the rear/ is to work the quad a little harder.
And I’m alive to let you know – it works.
Ouch. It looks painful. Good for you.
Once again… Just impressive. Good job! I tried the little-ball thing and fell over…
Oh yes, the elevated squats. Works every time. Or at least, I remember it working when I actually did squats.
Odd – it stops for me at 6:03. Anyway, nice work Susan – you’re tougher than Mickey Rourke.
Hero, you are my.
