		<description>It&#039;s nice to see someone not afraid to take a stand for Merlot. After Sideways came out, it really affected the sale of Merlot. Which is ironic, because the Cheval Blanc the character Miles prized contains Merlot as well as cab franc. 

Back in the days when I was still consuming wine, one of my favorites was a Cab-Merlot blend. I think it was Parducci, but that was back in the early 80s so I don&#039;t remember the label. Whatever it was, we couldn&#039;t get enough of it!
