Changing

So much is going on in my life that sometimes I don’t feel in control of what’s going on around me. I’m needing a time out, I think.

But the most beautiful girl in the world is not taking a time out from growing. Kenza is already taller than me. How did that happen? When did this happen? Where did my baby go?

Next Tuesday I visit the physician once more to get some more results, and then I’ll post a proper “8-hour physical” post. So very interesting.

We all know that it doesn’t take a whole lot to be taller than RunnerSusan, right?

I’m the shortest one in my family!

Oh sigh… they do group up and we don’t get to control much of anything about it. What a rude way to treat a mother!

They do grow up fast. My little girl won’t hold my hand, let me call her princess or any of that good daddy/daughter we used to have. AAhh the teenage years.

And congrats on the awesome swim Agua-woman. I saw your tweet of 500 miles swimming in 20 minutes. Damn girl, I’m surprised the pool water didn’t vaporize. :)

Susan, don’t feel bad. My son – who the same age as Kenza – is almost tall as me by 3 inches. **sigh** I can’t do anything about it.

She’s beautiful. I bet you’re having to beat the boys off with a stick.

Just blame the steroids for her tallness. The steroids they feed to chicken and beef.

Good luck on Tuesday.

your Kenza is gorgeous, just like her Mom and Grandmother, isn’t it a shame that any of us have to “grow up”.

Have a great day….

I hear you. YaYa will be the last to pass me up in height. At 5’2″, and with a father that was 6’2″, it isn’t hard to do.

I am more concerned for your good health. Kenza will be fine all by herself. She’s young and vibrant.

I know. My 7 year old already comes up to my shoulders, practically!

Ooh, an 8 hour physical? I’m intrigued!!
