I love it when I look forward to running ten miles because it’s my short run. My run on Sunday was the strangest run I’ve ever had, it was stupid windy, pouring down rain or sunny. The temperature also dropped from 65 degrees to 40 degrees – by the time I finished my hands were as red as my nail polish:
In other TERRIBLY exciting new, I can’t decide if I should keep the zebra shoes or not – one minute I love them like I birthed them, the next I want to return them. It’s not like me to be so indecisive about shoes. I’m keeping them on my sink and I stare at them while I brush my teeth in hopes of some miraculous decision. Whatcha think?
And so there in now peace in RS World – the salad making dress. When I lose ten pounds I’ll try it on for you:
That’s about it. Tomorrow I have to run 4 miles at an 8:45 pace. I’m not sure I can do it, but we shall sure try.
4 miles at a sub 9 pace? That makes me want to cry. Good luck with that!
Those shoes are adorable. What’s not to love?

I love the zebra shoes.
As much as I LOVE the zebra shoes, they do look sort of pinchy, pinchy. The question is are they comfy? I know, I must be getting old if cutsey shoes have to be comfy too!

Sunday was weird here too, if my feet look as good as yours in those shoes I would where them every day. I love the shoes, keep them.
Good luck with your run I can’t even think of doing that anymore in a training run.

8:35 pace for 4 miles! You’re a legend Susan — if it wasn’t another “Librarian moment” 😉 Seriously, that’s speedy – 5:20 kms. You’re due for a 5k PR!
Like the dress — not sure about the shoes. But what would I know about shoes?

Good for you for getting out in that hideous weather! I agree – it’s great how you shift what a long run really is after a while. What are you in training for at the moment? And re the shoes – great! Salad-making dress even better. Love it. Now show us the salad.
