I know, that title doesn’t make much sense – but neither does what the Texas Railroad Commission is saying is in my yard. Or not in my yard? So, while my brain is busy trying to sort through the paperwork so we can have TRRC trivia game day results, ponder over this video.
What’s the hurry with all the pipeline? Is all the gas going to magically disappear?
pipeline, pipeline, pipeline from Runner Susan on Vimeo.
I had to double-time this video because it was way too long.
So are you saying this is some hastily laid, poorly protected, crap pipe or what? And I sure hope your land isn’t one of those places the government has mineral rights to. That would suck – unless the developer you bought it from sort of forgot to disclose that little gem.
Interesting. More questions. No answers.
A little FYI about this:
It won’t matter if they want to put a pipeline on your land, no matter if you own the mineral rights, or not. Eminent Domain is how they can do it. You can’t refuse it. If you don’t sign the papers, they can go to Court & force an easement on you.
If one company wants to put 10 pipelines on your land, you can’t stop it.
If 10 different companies want to put 1 pipeline per company on you land, you can’t stop it.
Now, some companies are hastily putting in pipelines, even when the wells are not finished. Or only part of the wells are ready to produce.
That’s a lot of pipes! Hope they’re not importing cheap pipes from China.
What’s the connection between the Texas Railroad Commission and gas? Do they run gas powered trains or something?
How fitting to see oil tanker trucks cross your screen at 40 and 50 seconds in.
And I wish to frack I knew what fracking was. We don’t have that in Florida. Yeah, I know, I could google it.
