Just 2 or 3 miles to the west of my home, in residential community called Double Oak, another industrial toxic waste facility is going in, a massive one, complete with 22 more gas wells, compressor stations, generators, diesel tanks and 40 waste storage tanks – this waste facility is even larger than the one a mile from my house. Can’t you just smell the clean country air?
You can’t have this kind reckless exploitation in residential areas without causalities. Why won’t anyone stop them? Our communities are a time bomb.

MEETING DOUBLE OAK TOWN HALL JULY 20 7:00 P.M.
Concerned citizens and neighbors of Double Oak are invited to Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on July 20 to discuss organizing a plan of action in the opposition to the application and proposal for more gas wells and a large gas compressor station located at FM 407 Justin Road and Simmons Road on the west side of the town. This site is amid a large residential area including Lantana, The Estates of Double Oak, Carruth Estates, Canyon Oaks, and central to the Cross Timbers corridor of Double Oak.
