It’s official.
My town has officially made it on the shortlist of regions the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency could use as part of a federal review of the hydraulic fracturing method of natural gas drilling. We get to be the sacrificial guinea pigs for the rest of the country as the EPA researches fracking and contamination as it is occurring.
I wonder if the small towns selected will get a trophy or medal for their sacrifice? Because mysterious ailments and cancers are obviously not enough.
I am sure you can give them some good leads on shortcomings of your good neighbors.
Don’t you worry, Susan. T. Boone Pickens said on the Daily Show that he doesn’t know of ANY problems with fracking and he’s done it for year! So, you can rest easy now…
That’s NOT the list that you want to be on. Boo! 🙁
Hi Miss Susan! Just a quick FYI – heard Rosie O’Donnell say that there is a new documentary out all about what you are experiencing with contamination caused by natural gas drilling. Didn’t hear what it was called, but I’m sure she has it listed on her site. Thought you might find it interesting if you haven’t already seen it.
Hope all else is well,
Carilyn
