One of the tallest mountains near San Jose is Mount Umunhum, the name come from the Ohlone Indians, meaning resting place of the hummingbird. We have the Ruby Throat variety around here. My wife likes them, & we’ve had feeders outside for them. And, they foil the cats by being too high up at feeding for cats to catch them.
