This morning Karrie and I ran three miles with Donkey along. It was a great run with all negative splits. Donkey demonstrated his first sign of being a good watch-dog by barking at a few Ninja Walkers coming towards us. I felt completly protected from the power walkers. He’s such a good Donkey. A little later I went to the Y and ran three more miles, all negative as well, then lifted lower body weights with Karrie. I was very happy to get six miles in for the day.
I’m pooped and tomorrow I’ll be sore. I’m feeling good about increasing the intensity of my workouts. It must pay off for my marathon this spring! Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep up the hard work, because there will be no more five hour marathons for Susan. Tomorrow I have 60 minutes of speed work to do and lift upper body weights.
If I wasn’t so tired I’d throw something in about how my boobs are huge right now because of my increasing weight gain. But I’ll spare you, and you’ll thank me. Not to worry, the incredible shrinking body plan #72 is underway.
